During the last several years of Wendi’s practice, she specialized in treating victims of domestic violence and abuse. She is the author of two published books, Betrayed Vows, and the Care Point Training Manual for Facilitators of Support Groups. She has facilitated several domestic violence groups for women and children healing from abuse.
Wendi and her children experienced severe injustice in the family court system and her children are left unprotected along with thousands of others across the country. As CEO, Wendi’s vision for Wings for Justice is to bring beauty from the ashes, and necessary changes to the family court system to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Wendi earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA, where she also taught courses on the Undergraduate level, and has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.
