Hennie Lauf is from a small town in the Netherlands named Roosendaal where she studied nursing and became a nurse. Hennie has over 20 years experience working with families, street children, and orphans internationally including Africa, Brazil, Bolivia, Kiev, and Mexico.
Hennie is the mother of two children When she and her children broke free from her abusive husband, the children’s father, they unknowingly entered into a battle in an unjust family court system that failed to protect the two young children from further abuse. Custody was given to Hennie’s abusive husband, the children’s father. Hennie’s life experience in the family court system has equipped her with a passion to educate and be an advocate for families trapped in a similar fight. She believes in the importance of the mission of Wings for Justice and that it will lead to a positive change in the family court system.
